Research Background
 As the present political dispensation nears its end, it has become imperative that the pulse
of the people be gauged to find out their level of satisfaction or otherwise with the
performance of the present government and compare it with the past administration with a
view to determining which groups will receive the highest followership come 2011elections.
 Furthermore, there is need for prospective political office holders to understand the
yearnings and aspirations of the people they are to serve and also identify the shortcomings
of people they hope to unseat with a view to gaining an advantage.
 It is against this background that RMS commissioned an opinion survey to get people’s
views on different political issues.
 Thus this report contains detailed findings from this survey.
