2. Social Groups Our Media Product represents a social group of gothic or introvert teenagers aimed at 15-17 year olds who want a new kind of original horror. The film implies suicide with the knife scene and this represents the confusion amongst teenagers and hooks the idea of teenagers feeling trapped. Our film touches on the sensitive and quite controversial subject of rape (implied through newspaper clippings). This, in a way, helps to attract a wider audience as our film clearly has an emotional theme.
