2. What social groups are
represented in our film?
The main social group that is represented in
our film is the middle class teenager, making
the middle class teenager our main target
audience.
The teenagers in our film are also going
through high levels of emotional stress. Most
teenagers tend to experience this so they
can relate to it (although probably not on this
scale).
3. Gender
Our film does not go along with any particular
gender stereotypes. The male is not
dominant, nor is the female submissive
(which would be the typical stereotype).
Instead they are portrayed much more as
equals.
4. Comparison of characters
We could compare the character I play in our film to
“Charlie Hunnam” from “The Ledge”. Both characters
are attempting suicide and they wear similar, dark
clothing which reflects their mood and helps the
audience to identify their emotions easily. The only
difference is their age. Charlie is in his early twenties
where as our character is in his mid to late teens.
