descriptive essay, here are some important elements:

2. Use interesting adjectives or descriptions (Page 87)
3. Prepositions of Place (Page 90)
4. Read the sample essays in Unit 4 to help you.
4. PEER EDITING
• Look at Sheet 7 on page 251.
• Exchange essays with a partner. Answer the
questions on Sheet 7.
• Return the essay to your partner.
• Will you make changes to your essay?
• Before you give it to me, look at the Final Draft
Checklist on page 103.
5. UNIT 5 COMPARISON ESSAY
• Same as a comparison paragraph but longer.
• Remember Block VS Point-by-point
• Choose points of comparison. You can compare
two things but you have to choose which points you
are comparing.
