2. To make my blog banner, I used Photoshop. I used Graffpitty for
text. My type was 60 pt. Then I typed the phrase Brandon Norman’s
Blog. It’s all done in capital letters. Then I began to add color overlay
and drop shadow. Color overlay was white. The drop shadow was a
little bit trickier. The opacity was 100, the distance was 5, the spread
was 27, and the size was 9. Everything else was the same on drop
shadow. I then began to add filters, but before I did that step, I used the
background layer. I colored the layer gray and add tiles; 10 and 10. I
finally added the yellow triangles. I made the triangles with the
polygonal lasso tool. I turned the fill into yellow. Note: this is all on a
new layer of the triangles. Then I added inner shadow with white
lines. Finally it was ready for Wordpress upload. I went to the sent and
went to edit profile, appearance, header, and upload my jpeg, and save
changes. Then it came out with the final product.
3. My blog page is the basic blog page. It has blogs
in it. Basic help needed. The flicker widget photos
is very entertaining. My blog badge I added blog
stats. There is a facebook but I will get more
people to check it out on here in time for my
widget.
4. I think my best blog was chapter 7. There I was
getting a little bit more comfortable of doing blogs.
I was reading the material then typing it on my
blog. I had a point of view and I was showing it to
the world. Chapter 7 is truly a good blog in my
eye.
5. I posted for my student blog post on Katrina
Heilhecker on her not feeling good. I wished her to
get better. Cheer up little camper. You’ll pull
through. Also cool art on the page too. I really like
it a lot. Kat is so talented.
6. Copyright and the New Internet is my
favorite discussion. I think it tells us
about how times are changing and we
need to change along with it as artist. I
enjoyed the articles. I also like how it
made me think. I still think nothing but
good can come of this way of progress.
