X is a mascot for the English heavy metal band Y and appears on all their album
covers. The very first version of X was a papier-mache mask which could squirt
fake blood from its mouth. X’s name is said to be inspired from an old joke:

says the doctor. 'Bring him back in five years time, and we'll probably have a body

drew upon the author's experiences with psychoactive drugs. X is considered to
be one of the greatest films ever made and won all five major Academy awards.
In the movie, Y was played by Louise Fletcher who later remarked,
“I didn’t want to make her a monster – I wanted to make her believable as a real
person in those circumstances. I drew on the misuse of power, a prominent issue
in those times with Nixon having been forced to resign. I saw very clearly how
people can believe that they’re doing good and they know best.

X is an AC/DC song in their 1980 album of the same name. It was the band's first
album with vocalist Brian Johnson, after the death of Bon Scott. The album's
all-black cover was designed as a "sign of mourning" for Scott.
The song itself is meant to be a tribute to Bon Scott. Brian Johnson recalls “I just
wrote what came into my head, which at the time seemed like mumbo, jumbo.
'Nine lives. Cats eyes. Abusing every one of them and running wild.'”

X is an Oscar winning 2007 biographical film about the life of French singer Y and
is named after Y’s signature song. Y herself wrote the lyrics for the song which
celebrates finding love after a bad period, which is usually interpreted to refer to
World War 2, and depicts a state where everything appears rosy and cheerful to
you. The song has been covered successfully by multiple artists including Louis
Armstrong.

drug references past radio censors. The song uses imagery from the works of
Lewis Carroll and was intended to be a slap to parents who read their children
such novels and then wondered why their children later used drugs. The song
references characters such as Alice, the white knight, the red queen, and the
