Lincoln Financial works for providing financial investments to customers. New data in the form of
.csv files comes in for data extraction and loading into their tables. Also reporting those using SAP
BO is also required.
Project: Bridger Historical Retention
Bridger a tool which is being used to satisfy the government regulations associated with the
Homeland Security Administration where all enterprise source systems has to be scanned against
government watch files through mainframe jobs and providing the details to Business through the
reports as .csv files by using the reporting tool WEBI and modifying the universe.

Unit Value System:
A unit value is the dollar value of a single accumulation or annuity unit. Unit Values change daily to
reflect the current combined total value of the underlying investments in an annuity portfolio,
minus expenses. Unit values are applied to contracts after the stock market closes and the fund unit
values are known.
When a new project comes or in releases we add the new unit values in the different tables in DB2
system in test region and then test the unit values performance prior to the implementation. At
first the unit values gets loaded by mainframe testing and then the universe gets updated and the
reports get delivered to business.
