ANM or simply Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery in Nursing is a two-year undergraduate certificate-level
course in Medical Nursing. The duration of the course varies for different institutes. It often ranges from
1 to 3 academic years. The minimum eligibility to pursue ANM Course is 10+2 level of education with a
minimum aggregate of 45% marks.

aptitude for the course is tested. Admission process generally varies across colleges. The final
admission to the ANM course depends on the candidate’s score in entrance exam and PI.
Few institutes also provide direct admission based on the candidate’s performance at the 10+2
