• Post basic B.Sc Nursing is a 2 years
undergraduate course that is designed to
enhance the nursing skills of professionals who
already have a background in GNM nursing .
It provides an advanced level of knowledge
related to medical care.
• After the completion of this course the the post
basic bsc nurse is now equivalent to an B.Sc
nursing course.
21. Eligibility criteria:-
• The basic eligibility criteria are that students should have
completed Class 12 with a certificate in General Nursing and
Midwifery (GNM) and should have a registration in Registered
Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM).
• Candidates should also be Registered Nurses/ Registered
Midwives or equivalent with any of the State Nursing
Registration Councils.
