In India close to 3 million women work as Prostitutes,of
which 1.2 million are below 18.
Supreme court of India in December 2009 asked the
Govt.
“If you are not able to curb it by laws then legalize it”
Supreme court added that legalizing Prostitution would
help monitor the trade and rehabilitate Sex workers.

8. My View on Legalization of
Prostitution
It would make Sex Workers Healthier.
It would Protect Minor.
Legal Prostitution would reduce violence and Sex
crimes.
Rights of worker could be Protected.
Legalization could Benefit a Government through
Taxes.
Sex workers have The Right to their Body.
9. The time has to either integrate prostitution as part of
society or to alienate them completely,
Middle path will never beneficial for prostitutes.
