3. Article 14 declares that “the state
shall not deny to any person
equality before the laws or the
equal protection of the laws
within the territory of India.”
That means all persons are equal
before the Law.
4. No man is above the law & that
every person, whatever be his rank
or conditions.
Equality before the law does not
mean the “power of the private
citizens are the same as the powers
of the public officials.”
5. Article 15 of the constitution states that no person
shall be discriminated on the basis of religion, caste,
etc.
Every person shall have equal access to public
places.
