1. What is Sanskrit Language?
Sanskrit is the primary liturgical language of Hinduism; a philosophical
language of Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, and Jainism; and a literary language
and lingua franca for the educated of ancient and medieval South Asia. Sanskrit
