2. In the pre-production stage of my
magazine, I mainly used the
computer with Publisher as the
document to work on my layout
designs. Along with that, I used
Word document for my Photoshop
plan and costume design. For my
research side of pre-production, I
used Google drive to create my
questionnaire and record the
results as well as Google sites for
the presentation of the entire
project.
3. For the actual production of my magazine, I used a DSLR
camera to capture pictures of my model with ‘red head’ lights
and a green screen. I had full creative control over my photos
whilst photographing. I had only used this camera once
previously, however this time; I was more in control of what
shots I was able to take and adjusting the camera to where I
wanted to position it, also I knew how to use the camera with
less guidance from Mr Walker.
4. I used a memory card reader to transfer images from the camera to the
computer. Photoshop was used to edit and adjust my images. Since I
didn’t use Photoshop in my preliminary project, this definitely taught
me more skills since I learned how to use it properly, editing pictures to
fit my preference. A green screen was used during my production for
the picture taking as it stands out and is a colour that isn’t often used.
Therefore, it was easier for me to edit the background out on
Photoshop. I used publisher for the final layout of my magazine.
My most used Photoshop tools
PREZI, Slideshare and Youtube will be
the online tools I will use for my
evaluation.
