The challenges of today’s workplace can vary from place to place. Every organization has different levels of importance based on how they interact with a customer, other businesses, and with their teams of employees. To run a successful company, I agree there needs to be a good combination of talent, technology, globalization, ethics, diversity and careers. For me to say which is the most important would be way to difficult since again it varies from company to company. For my employment, I feel I have best tried to identify how I feel about the level of importance. I have talent and ethics as the most important two. Working in a non-profit organization, those two could be even higher to me but as long as they stand out as the most important, I feel our organization will succeed. In my 18 months here, I am continually told that this is exactly what I have done. Brought in better talent and those people have a great ethical being about themselves. We’re changing lives and helping make people more fit and we all have a passion for what we do. I am also a strong believer in diversity. A workplace with all one gender, race, religion etc. is not going to get you very far in my eyes. Careers is also up there for me. I have made a great career out of what I do in the fitness industry and I try to help all of my teams to realize they don’t always have to be looking for the next best career because they are already working it.
