Umit Project is an open-source organization that provides network scanning and packet manipulation tools. It includes Umit Network Scanner, a graphical frontend for Nmap that allows easy scanning profile creation and network inventorying. Other tools include UmitWeb for remote scanning, Umit Bluetooth Scanner, and PacketManipulator for packet editing and injection. The project aims to make network analysis accessible while providing powerful capabilities through integration with Nmap and the UMPA packet manipulation library. Future plans include improvements to scanning speed, operating system detection, and additional plugin-based functionality.
