Head of Social Media £45-60k+, London

We’re looking for a Head of Social Media for a leading dynamic & digitally savvy PR agency based in the heart of London, working with a highly impressive range of leading
brands across music, media, IT, automotive industries including Microsoft, TGI’s, Royal Mail, Gumtree and Castrol. They’re a slightly ‘off the wall’ creative agency with a
sense of humour but a real passion for driving campaigns that really deliver & provide results for their clients!

We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Social Media consultant (5 years minimum) with the enthusiasm, seniority and drive to spread the digital word and
grow the social media offering for the agency and extend an already impressive portfolio of brands. With strong credentials in delivering digital and social media
campaigns, you will have a good understanding of the wider marketing mix, how social media fits into digital and how these tools/platforms complement and enhance the
brand of the world’s leading businesses.

We’re looking for a real ‘go-getter’ that brings ‘that’ gravitas to client meetings, does big picture thinking and then delivers those projects and manages a team with
authority and clarity.

Key Role Objectives:
> To work with the board to develop a digital vision for the agency.
> Work with Board and Associates to identify key digital opportunities and sell in to leading brands.
> Strategic team and client counselling, overseeing delivery of campaigns and projects.
> Form close relationships with digital stakeholders within key clients.
> Provide digital consultancy for new business pitches.
> Monitor trends and developments across the digital sector and develop contacts with external third parties
(where such relationships will allow us to realize the digital vision).
> To be instrumental in educating and changing the focus of the account teams across the agency. Develop comprehensive digital training programme.
> Develop and market new products/services in the digital arena.
> Network externally and raise the agency’s profile as a leader in the digital space via engagement in industry events, speaker opportunities and initiatives.
>Develop digital marketing strategy i.e. blogs, facebook, twitter, social interactions etc.

> Enthusiasm for and experience in integrating digital disciplines fully in to the agency.
> The ability to apply digital skills to PR.
> Adaptability and flexibility.
> An excellent team worker.
> Expertise in helping others develop ideas.
> Self-starter with the ability to "sell" your proposals to the agency and clients.
> In-depth knowledge of online Social/WOM channels.
> The ability to engage with the creative process.

Principal responsibilities:
>Management of the Analyst Team through Senior Analysts and Planners:
>Ensure timely delivery of project assets to Client Services including reports and briefing documents.
>Use of correct style / brand guidelines across client materials including uniformity of tools and resources.
>Building a new iterative process amongst the team in their approach to reporting.
>Monitor work allocation and mode of working; mentoring and supporting team members.
>Complete performance reviews, implement and manage training schedule.
>Promote positivity and a motivated working atmosphere.
>Development and optimization of our monitoring framework.
>Implementation of a holistic approach to data gathering, analysis and reporting.
>Research into external tools and partners.
>Integration of traditional research methodologies within measurement with particular reference to offline research.
>Introduction of crowdsourced scoring initiatives to support/optimize current methodologies.
>Implementation of a business-wide strategy that incorporates insights at every stage of the project process.
>Participation in industry events, creation of content for social presences.
>Hosting client training and leading client presentations related to analytics and insights where appropriate.

Skills/experience required:
>2-4 years research/analysis and client facing experience.
>Previous experience of management in a fast-paced environment.
>Knowledge of the online monitoring space/tools.
>The ability to analyse and resolve problems quickly and effectively.
>Able to interact with people at all levels demonstrating tact, diplomacy, discretion and maturity.
>Have an understanding of social media and its impact on brand.
>Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Sailor Jerry).

Specifically, they’re looking for:
3- 4 years’ consumer PR/online PR/social media experience.
Demonstrable knowledge of social media – being personally into it as well as professionally.
Great understanding of online media.
Experience of running consumer PR campaigns for brands.
Great media contacts.
Well connected and knowledgeable.
Proven creativity and ability to articulate ideas.
Digitally savvy.
Some great client facing experience to cross sell and maintain excellent relationships.

  • 2. Head of Social Media £45-60k+, London We’re looking for a Head of Social Media for a leading dynamic & digitally savvy PR agency based in the heart of London, working with a highly impressive range of leading brands across music, media, IT, automotive industries including Microsoft, TGI’s, Royal Mail, Gumtree and Castrol. They’re a slightly ‘off the wall’ creative agency with a sense of humour but a real passion for driving campaigns that really deliver & provide results for their clients! We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Social Media consultant (5 years minimum) with the enthusiasm, seniority and drive to spread the digital word and grow the social media offering for the agency and extend an already impressive portfolio of brands. With strong credentials in delivering digital and social media campaigns, you will have a good understanding of the wider marketing mix, how social media fits into digital and how these tools/platforms complement and enhance the brand of the world’s leading businesses. We’re looking for a real ‘go-getter’ that brings ‘that’ gravitas to client meetings, does big picture thinking and then delivers those projects and manages a team with authority and clarity. Key Role Objectives: > To work with the board to develop a digital vision for the agency. > Work with Board and Associates to identify key digital opportunities and sell in to leading brands. > Strategic team and client counselling, overseeing delivery of campaigns and projects. > Form close relationships with digital stakeholders within key clients. > Provide digital consultancy for new business pitches. > Monitor trends and developments across the digital sector and develop contacts with external third parties (where such relationships will allow us to realize the digital vision). > To be instrumental in educating and changing the focus of the account teams across the agency.
