Social Media Manager – Digital PR Agency £30-35k London
We’re working with an industry leading and award winning advertising and PR Company that are making huge leaps towards being ‘the’ agency
to work with in terms of Digital PR and Social Media implementation. They’re a building a team of Digital savvy PR, Social and Marketing focussed
professionals to carry out a range of exciting briefs for various international brands.
They’re currently looking for a Social Media Manager to join the business and support the business to create PR driven creative strategy that can
be implemented across a brand or specifically around a clients’ choice of product or service.
The ideal candidate will be someone socially savvy with 4-8 years experience in Communications, PR, Marketing, Journalism or Advertising,
ideally with some Charity or Public Sector experience and significant recent experience within the fast moving world of Social Media.
Support teams with wide variety of social media work - 50:50 - implementation/strategy.
Responsible for client servicing of projects, and ultimately client’s satisfaction.
Adept at delivering organic growth across client portfolio and in tutoring teams to deliver the same.
Overarching responsibility for meeting and exceeding KPIs across every client account.
Contributes to new business.
Contributes to, and helps shape, training programme for client service and delivery teams.
Plays a key role in mentoring junior staff and supporting their professional development.
Is an ambassador for the brand, internally and externally.
Is a key member of the agency’s senior team, respected by peers, colleagues and members of the Management Team.
Must understand social media universe including YouTube, StumbleUpon, Delicious, Digg, Reddit, Flickr, Forums, Twitter, Wikis, blogs, etc.
Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities of mainly public sector based clients.
Must be fluent in social media tactics and techniques including blogger relations, community management, content creation/identification,
seeding, digital optimisation, editorial, promotions, social media events etc.
Must possess functional knowledge and/or some experience with HTML/CSS, SEO, Facebook self-serve ads.
Create and implement social media strategy, coordinating with teams and stakeholders across the Company to ensure its effectiveness and
encouraging adoption of relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the company’s products and services.
Manage presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and
seeding content into social applications as needed.
Become an advocate of the Company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate/authorised.
Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of
campaigns in an effort to maximise results.
Regularly feedback insights gained from social media monitoring into the teams, to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion.
Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications.
Editorial experience a bonus.
Creates relationships with individuals across client’s structure.
Is responsible for using all agency resources to ensure client satisfaction.
Provides council to teams when faced with client management challenges.
Working in new business scenarios and will be well versed with the pitch process and winning business.
We’re looking for someone that understands the shift and integration that Social Media has brought to the Marketing, PR and Advertising
industry, and someone that passionate about responsible, creative use of these tools on behalf of some amazing brands.
Salary in the Region of £30-35k+
