Culinaria Festival is the evolution of whole living through food and education,
cultivating nutritional eating one step at a time.
Our classes are a one-day-event that promote a better way of eating while cultivating
a higher quality of life by empowering local residents and their children with better
eating options for the entire family.
4. We Promote Fresh, Healthy and Nutritional Eating
Our aim is to create an experience where attendees can sample fresh, healthy and
nutritious cuisine without sacrificing taste.

Educates the Family
We offer children the chance to interact and have a pleasant experience while learning
about food.
6. Why we do this?
Diabetes and obesity in our community is at a high rate showing a large need for
intervention. Inundated with immediate gratification and fast food, our society is in
dire need of a better eating lifestyle.
Culinaria Festival aims to take it back to the traditional way of eating through cooking
with fresh whole foods.

• The class will be hosted by Latina local influencer and
food lover Zahaira Curiel from Sassy’s Sweets.
• Sassy’s Sweets Inc is a dessert company that offers
delicious sweets for all occasions. Currently, they specialize
in custom cupcakes and plan to branch out into other
decadent desserts in the future. Influenced by their
Dominican, Puerto Rican andAmerican backgrounds,
Zahaira enjoyes mixing her diverse culinary background in
order to create unique and scrumptious desserts with fresh
ingredients.
