performing arts. At
present multiplexes are
perceived as being part
of a wider narrative
through which India is
rising, shining, poised
and unbound. The multi
screen cinema typology
is designed as a
standalone project with
cinema screens at the
core of a hybrid
programme.
It becomes relevant in
the same context that
experimental theatres
are also not being taken
into consideration these

A design intervention in order to enhance the experience of a stopover was an interesting and a challenging task that involved a methodical response to the site in a way that the visitor’s
experience is made more intimate and memorable within the natural settings, but without being too obtrusive.
