2. Plain Wall
This picture doesn’t really have a shot type because
it’s just a plain wall. The representation of this plain
wall is to show simplicity. When my model stands in
front of this the attention will mostly be on the
model because the background is plain. It helps the
model to stand out. When the picture is taken
because it’s the main image it will stand out.
3. Art
This is a picture I took in the art building. The background
is really busy so I would fade it out so you can’t see it
much. By doing this the main image will stand out more.
The drawing is of guys 3 guys laughing and since the
magazine is a student magazine I thought it would go in
with the theme. The shot type is a medium close up. I
think my target audience , who are teenagers will like this
as a background because it’s creative and will look good
and also its very eye catching.
4. Brick wall
This is a picture of a brick wall. It doesn’t have a shot type
because it’s just a plain picture. The brick wall is plain and it
doesn’t look to much, so adding another image on top
wouldn’t look bad. The main image will stand out on the
brick wall background because it’s plain. My target audience,
who are teenagers might like the simplicity of it.
5. Chill out area
This is a picture of the chill out area. There is mise-
en-scence in this as there are chairs and tables. The
background is quiet busy so this might draw the
attention away from the main image.
6. Drama room
This picture was taken in one of the drama rooms. The
sharp lighting in the back would put a sort of spotlight on
the main image. There are chairs and two doors in the
back which add to mise-en-scene.
7. Theatre hall
This is a picture of the main theatre hall. This picture
contains the lecturing stand and the all the seats. This lights in
the picture will help to make the main image stand out a bit.
8. Library
This is a picture of library books in the library.
This picture represents knowledge. This would be
good for a student magazine. Due to the fact that
there are a lot of colours in the background I ould
fade the image out a bit so that the main image
would stand out more.
