2. Hello everyone, my name is Ashley Darby, I
am currently studying ICT, Business and
Media in sixth form at Wednesfield High
Specialist Engineering Academy,
I love working with a range of different
mediums within media, this ranges from
marketing and business research, graphic
design and photography. I also love to work
with video.

I enjoy a lot of graphic design and logo
creation.
On the right is a logo that I created for
part of my ICT coursework, I needed to
create a logo for a business that was in
the electricity industry.
I have a good understanding on creating
a logo for a desired purpose.

One of my most enjoyable hobbies
is photography, I enjoy exploring
the world we live in and capturing it
in still images.

5. PREVIOUS WORK - REPURPOSING CONTENT

On the right is part of my repurposing
work, on the page prior you will probably
recognise this image that was used in this
piece of work.
I take a lot of pride in photography and
enjoy repurposing and adapting the images
that I capture, this is a piece of work that I
adapted and gave the image of he
university a purpose.
That purpose was to be in the spotlight of
an advertising poster for Wolverhampton
university.

6. Academically, I have always been a very determined and love challenging myself
to new tasks, therefore I know that a degree at university would be the next step
in my education. I enjoy a wide variety of interesting subjects, but my main focus
is on law and its associating fields.
ICT and computing has evolved drastically over the past 10 years and its
development is ongoing. As a result, I am keen to keep learning about their
impacts and how they help the world in positive ways; I really want to be a part
of this. From an early age I have always had an interest in computers and video
games, I have a broad knowledge of computing and how they work.

8. Other than photography, I also enjoy a range of
other activities.
I enjoy playing football as well as watching it every
weekend in aid of supporting my favourite team,
Manchester United
I also enjoy watching movies as well as binge
watching some of the most popular TV series and
Netflix shows
I also enjoy gaming, this ranges from casual
gaming to the competitive side of the sport!
