3. Industry Analysis
• The electrical and industrial electronics industry has witnessed a 13%
growth in Q4 of FY 2014-15. The overall growth of the industry is 9.98% in
this fiscal.
•The major drivers in this growth are Cables & Conductors, LV and HV
switchgear, while Power transformers and LT Motors continue to show
declining trend
•Electric equipment industry contributes over 2 per cent of GDP which is
expected to rise to around 12 per cent in 2013

4. Engine trouble at CG
• In FY14, the company has been a victim of the economic
downturn in the global market.
