 Check for cuts ,sores ,red spots ,swelling or
infected toe nails
 Wash feet properly with warm water and dry
them well

13. KEEP SKIN SOFT AND SMOOTH
 Apply skin lotion or cream on the feets but
avoid in between the toes

14. WEAR SHOES AND SOCKS AT ALL
TIMES
 Avoid walking bare foot
 Wear socks that absorb moisture
 Wear well fitting shoes

15. PROTECT FEET FROM HOT AND
COLD
 In summer guard feet against sun
 In winter wear padded socks
 Avoid radiators , open fires ,or heating pads on
the feet

16. KEEP BLOOD FLOWING IN TO THE
FEET
 Avoid tight socks
 Put up feet while sitting
 Avoid crossing legs for long periods
 Move toes and ankles to improve blood flow

17. BE MORE ACTIVE
 Go for walking, dancing swimming and
bycycling
 Avoid running and jumping

SUPPORT
