BACKGROUND
Software Engineering Professionals (SEP) was founded in 1988 by four engineers from Rose‐Hulman Institute of
Technology. The company is modeled around providing complete project life‐cycle support for industrial strength
challenges. Our culture is built around honesty, integrity, and the concept of making a difference. We desire to be a
part of products and projects that really matter and have a significant impact on making our clients successful.
SEP is one of the largest and most well respected engineering companies in central Indiana that provides full product
development support. According to the Indianapolis Business Journal, SEP is one of the top‐ten largest IT companies
located in central Indiana. We are currently ranked #5.
SEP currently has a technical staff of over 65 developers with five engineering managers. In addition to the
engineering managers, fifteen of our developers are capable of team leadership and have experience leading
engineering teams. Every engineer has a minimum of a four‐year degree in computer or engineering related
fields of study. SEP’s engineering managers are all PMI‐certified Project Management Professionals.
