LESSON PLAN School : SMA Negeri XX Jakarta Lesson : Fisika Class : XI Material : Elasticity Time : 10 Minute Semester/Education year : 1/ 2011-2012 Standard Competence : Analyze the natural phenomena and their arrangement within the scope of the object point mechanics. Basic Competence : Analyze the influence of the force on material elasticity. Basic Materials : • The meaning of elasticity • The meaning of elasticity properties of the object. • The meaning of stress (σ), strain (ε), elasticity modulus (E) Indicator : Students can:  Explain the meaning of elasticity  Determine the term of concept of the force by the elasticity properties of materials.  Analyze the motion under the influence of spring force. 1

Materials Description Students Learning Experiece Learning strategy Competence Achieved Learning Place Teacher Activity Students Aktivity Elasticity is one of the mechanical properties of materials that can show strength, endurance, and stiffness of the material against the external force given to the material. Stress is the ratio Students are devide into the grups and discuss the explanation that explained by the teacher. Teacher do apperception by asking a few questions (classical) such as follow: - Have you ever heard the word of elastic? What is it? How was the elastic object is given the external force? Are there things which not elastic? Teacher showed the demonstration using the rubber and explain the lesson material to the students. The question: what is the difference of this rubber after and before given the external force? How the shape of the object? The teacher explain the stress of elastic material using the rubber. And find that Students answer the quation that given by the teacher with the owned concept of the students. Students give attention to the demonstration showed by teacher. Than try to observe and able to explain the result of teacher explanation. The students do as Students may mention the meaning of elasticity with the initial concept owned. Students more understand the concept of elasticity. The students Siswa dapat menyebutkan pengertian elastisitas dengan konsep awal yang dimiliki. Siswa lebih mengerti konsep elastisitas. 2

After given the external force the shape of the rubber is changed and different length from the initial length. This is the strain that the change between first length and the length after given the external force. The teacher give information that every materials are have the elasticity modulus even very small and different each materials. Teacher give the quation test to the students that simulate understanding of students. teacher did in the rubber, then discuss about its difference. So get the new concept of elasticity of material. Students pay attention and see the changes that occurred in the rubber and measuring the change in length of the rubber. Then get the the concept of stress. Students answer the quation so they get the concept of strain. understand the concept of stress. The students understand the meaning of strain. The concept of elasticity modulus 3

For the small stress, the material is called “elastic” and the value of its strain is big. The factor ratio between stress and strain it’s called The elasticity (young) modulus. . 5
