Bank, Mexico Customer
The customer is a leading bank in Mexico providing
mortgage financing for individual housing and
commercial lending to the construction companies.
The customer is using IBM Lotus Notes, .NET and other
legacy applications for managing loan processes,
disbursements, collections, payments and regulatory
compliances.
Most loan processes require maintaining of physical
documents, paperwork and movement of physical files
between offices.
Our Solution
• Our team has been implementing Loan Origination
Process on the SAP NetWeaver BPM platform – the
workflow solution replaces the current manual
process of excel based tracking and movement of
physical files between offices.
• The SAP NetWeaver Portal / BPM based solution
provides a single unified frontend to the business user
for capturing new loan applications and processing
them.
• The Business Rules Framework (SAP BRM) has 70
business rules for automatic validation of key values
in the loan application.
• We integrate with the existing .NET and IBM Lotus
applications to get data into the SAP BPM workflows.
Benefits
•The new platform allows the customer to process 50,000
applications annually with their current staff (this is 10 times
higher than the capacity of their legacy solution due to
manual document management and workflow
capabilities).
•Direct integration to SAP allows immediate data transfer
of financial values between the loan application and SAP
FICO.
•The solution is implemented across 22 branches in Mexico.
We plan to convert more manual processes to SAP BPM.
