Key Qualification
MSC. Major Duties and Responsibilities (01-03-2015 to till): in ethio telecom at a radio
access network engineer I am working 2G and 3G mobile radio network site configuration,
commissioning and relocation, BSC and RNC upgrading, license upgrading, GSM and
UMTS performance analysis, alarm monitoring, ICR; PAT (provisioning Acceptance Test),
SSV (single site validation), idle and dedicated channel test (I & D) and other related
things including hard ware network device maintenance.
Sometimes we can discuss with the customers when customers raise network coverage
and capacity issue problems in addition to system analysis to avoid customer
dissatisfaction and deliver our telecom different services.
BSC. Major duties and responsibilities (05/06/2010 – 30/02/2014): In ethio
telecom I was done as a transmission engineer and handles transmission system
monitoring, troubleshooting, analysis, and maintenances of any microwave and optical
fiber devices. I was configured E1 and STM transmission resources on Ericson NMS
system; ZTE SDH and DWDM system; and MW systems to prepare resources to other
sections as a backbone.
As a Radio acces network Eengineer (RAN), I was done system monitoring;
troubleshooting; performance analysis, RNC; BSC; NodeB and BTS configuration,
commissioning; capacity expansion; site modification, site optimization, on Huawei UMTS
and GSM technology. I configured former ericsson BSC and sites, and I was monitor,
maintain, analyses ZTE, GSM and CDMA sites in each technology.
Diploma Major Duties & Responsibilities (21/05/2003 to 30/12/09):
In ethio telecom as a purchaser: I performing all procurement operations, Inventory
planning and material management, logistics operation and transportation sourcing,
tender preparation; analysis and evaluation, and negotiation and write letter of
acknowledgment in addition to supplier’s negotiation for direct material purchasing.
Providing training on procurement and supply manuals, preparing materials stock
management programs to identify Maximum and Minimum stock level; reorder level; lead
time; and updating the schedule based on the materials type; consumption; and
customers & organizations activities.
As a senior purchaser: I was done Bid preparation, bid analysis and evaluation after
when the bid was opened with potential suppliers, and write letter of acknowledgement to

the suppliers and follow up and inspect the materials up to the materials deliver to the
ware house.
I was strongly negotiated with the suppliers when the bid opening time to evaluate the
technical evaluation and materials inspected and delivered to our organization. I was done
market survey and market analysis in each month, because it helps us to know new
potential suppliers in addition to identify the previous supplier’s capacity, due to this we
delivered materials with lest price at the best quality from the write suppliers.

Basic Level training, and have a certificate from ZTE University.
From 03/03/2014 to 13/03/2014 I was taken GSM BSS basic Level training, and have a

From 17/11/2014 to 01/12/2014 I was taken UMTS operation and maintenance Engineer
Basic Level training by Huawei University and have a certificate.
From 02/12/2014 to 19/12/2014 I was taken GSM operation and maintenance Engineer

Special Skills
In my MSC thesis design: I was designed WCDMA Radio Network Dimensioning &
planning for the case of Bahir Dar city, Ethiopia.
In my BSc thesis, I was designed power factor correction for three phase induction motor
on Bahir Dar Textile factory, Bahir Dar.
In my diploma paper, I was done research on material handling system on Artistic
printing price, Addis Ababa.
