Recommendation Letter for Christina E. Reif
Ms Reif was studying “Business Administration” at the undergraduate level at WU
(Vienna University of Economics and Business). During her studies she specialised in
“Management and Organisational Behaviour”, a specialisation I am responsible for as
head of the institute, where she was enrolled in the course ‘Organisation and
Environment’ in the summer term of 2013. In addition, I took her overall oral exam in
October 2014. Based on this I am convinced that she is a deserving candidate for a
master degree program abroad.
Among her age group, Ms Reif is a superior candidate for a number of reasons. She is
an intelligent, conscientious and active student, regularly raising new perspectives and
actively participating in interesting discussions by making stimulating contributions to
the topic. She also clearly is not only ambitious, but also a valuable team player. She is
at her best in a group environment where she proactively strives for getting full
involvement of all other team members to achieve the best results for the overall group.
In terms of her ambition, Ms Reif is a dedicated woman well-prepared to further pursue
her goals.
Given the fact that Christina already has experience with living and working abroad I
believe that she has the necessary interpersonal skills to be part of an intercultural team
and therefore would be a great contribution to any Master program with students from
various national and cultural backgrounds. Likewise, her practical experience based on
a number of internships in a variety of companies allows her to bring some practical
flavour to the discussions in the classroom.
Overall, I can strongly recommend Ms Reif for a Master program abroad. I am fully
convinced that she will make a positive contribution to such a program since she
exhibits major qualities that are essential to managers and business students.
