 Planning and routing traffic on the VSNL optical backbone network.
 Monitoring & circuit provisioning of E1, Ethernet over SDH in ECI & Tejas NMS
 Co-ordination with the International Carriers like SMW3, SMW4, TIC, SAFE for quick resolution of the faults
 Provide online technical support to field engineers in testing/troubleshooting of customer link down issues.
 24*7 support & responsible for 99.98% uptime.
 Well versed with reading and verifying data from Crammer and CBOSS tools.
 Knowledge of various devices used in transmission like ECI Mux, Tejas Mux, Ciena, Marconi.
 Utilizing Transmission tools efficiently such as Spotlight and Discovery for faster troubleshooting.
 Basic understanding of IP to be able to troubleshoot using Putty.
 Coordination and timely escalations with stakeholders.
 Proper handling of escalations and team coordination.
 Fluent with basic computer office software (Microsoft word, Excel)
