CSR is the procedure of assessing an organisation's impact on society
and evaluating their responsibilities . It begins with the assessment of
following aspects

CSR trends in INDIA
• FY 2016-2017 has witnessed a growth in CSR spending in comparison to the
previous year
• Companies in India spent a huge amount in various programmes ranging from
educational programme, skill development, social welfare, healthcare, and
environment conservation.
• There is an increasing number of companies setting up their own foundation
rather than working with non profits to have more control over their CSR
spending.
• 2017 CSR spending are predicted to rise with programmes such as Swatch
Bharath and Digital India to foster inclusive growth

• Community improvement and poverty alleviation programs. engaged in women
empowerment activities, income generation, rural community development, and
other social welfare programs. provides scholarships and endowments for
numerous institutions.
