Biography of HE Dr Princess Asie Ocansey
She co‐founded the multiple  award winning Save a Million  Lives  (SAML)  from  HIV/AIDS 
Project  with  the  African  American  National  Medical  Association  and  Student  National 
Medical Association‐ saving millions of lives through HIV/AIDS awareness video series, free 
medical care and medications, and a food security Agric mobilization program in partnership 
FAO and Roy‐ Utah, USA farmers provide food to the rural poor. 
 
The SAML project won several awards globally, including White House and Buckingham Palace 
recognitions. She led the University of  Alberta, Canada’s response to the Ebola crisis  –  Co‐
organising an awareness symposium. 
 
She founded the Global Peace Chest initiative which sponsors youth  to the UN to start them 
early in the peace Building mind‐set. She co‐chaired the “We Support Peace” campaign to the 
United Nations and received a letter of endorsement from the then Secretary General: HE Ban 
Ki‐moon.  
 
Recognising that the one million jobs agenda will mostly be achieved through “successful 
entrepreneurs in an ecosystem of economic excellence” – Dr Ocansey developed the “12 
SOS  Keys  to  An  Economic  Ecosystem  of  Excellence”  which  coins  her  unique  term: 
“Ojalawashikapreneurs”:” Ojalawashika” means “expensive money”. She cites that the chief 
cause of business failure in many cases in Ghana and Africa is due to ojalawa‐shikaeneurial 
businesses being run with “Ojalawashika” which provides very high interest rate loans 32‐
100% interest – therefore both banks and entrepreneurs fail. The SOS Investment Drive 
series is focused on attracting low interest rate banking loan systems to Ghana. Her primary 
focus is to create one million Shikapreneurs (defined as “trained successful good intentioned 
money making entrepreneurs with access to low income funds with a focus on turning a 
profit quickly)  through one proven Agricultural program: Sweet on Stevia – a fast growing 
natural plant sweetener which is a healthy alternative to sugar. 
 
She believes Africa’s real capital needing urgent development is her human capital and to 
accelerate  this  development,  she  advocates  for  the  empowerment  and  decent 
opportunities  for  her  women.  She  was  recently  named  the  GODSU  Women’s 
Empowerment and Employment Champion 2017 in the USA. 
 
The World Bank made a documentary on her life in their docu‐drama series: “Voices of a New 
Ghana”. She is indeed the voice of  a new Ghana, fast emerging on  a new track to success 
through inclusion. 
 
With  success  comes  persecution,  Princess  Asie  Ocansey  was  falsely  accused  of  Human 
Trafficking, for which she was acquitted and discharged, after going to court for two years, 
with  not  a  single  “victim”  showing  up.  The  Princess  showed  remarkable  strength  of 
character, resilience, integrity and patience during this difficult and trying period during 
which  time she attained her  Doctorate in  Theology and formed a  personal unbreakable 
relationship with God. 
 
Biography of HE Dr Princess Asie Ocansey
The persecution deepened her conviction that total forgiveness is the way to Peace. She has 
learned the hard way to eradicate envy and provide human dignity an opportunity by giving a 
“hand up” to her people to come out of poverty instead of “handouts”.  
 
Dr Ocansey gained valuable working experience, working in Engineering and Consulting 
positions  with  USA  Fortune  500  companies  –  Johnson  and  Johnson,  Delmonte 
Corporation,  PepsiCo, Avon Products, Ortho McNeil Pharmaceutical USA, plus the United 
Nations  ‐  UNDP  &  UNEP/ICT  –  in  Renewable  Energy  for  which  she  is  a  sought  after 
international speaker. The Princess was part of a 12 member Task force appointed by the 
then UN Secretary General, HE Kofi Annan, to look into ICT and Renewable Energy in rural 
communities globally. She has also held high level Governmental consultancy positions 
with the Ghana Export Promotion Center, Ghana Investment Promotion Center, Ministry

Shola Agboola is the president of the Nigerian Association for
Young Adults of Canada and a respected young leader in the
African community in Canada. He is also the Director for Youth
Mobilization for the African Canadian Cultural Heritage
Council in Canada. Mr. Agboola has over 16 years of
progressive experience in Public Administration, Governance
and Public Policy Management working with the Department
of Justice for the Government of Manitoba, Canada. He also
has extensive
knowledge in a number of key areas including social,
economic and political engagement having served in many
leadership positions in several high profile non-profit
organizations and government boards and commissions in
Canada.
He was the first Nigerian, the first African and the only black person to ever serve on the
National Board of Directors for a major political party in Canada (Conservative Party of
Canada). As a major player within the Canadian political circle and an influential
community person, Agboola has a strong foothold in Canada as well as Nigeria with a
good understanding of both cultures (Nigeria and Canada). This has made him a critical
part of the Canadian advantage in building ties with Nigeria. Agboola is able to broker
contacts on both sides of the countries and can bring together leaders, captains of
industry, government leaders, academics and other relevant stakeholders to help
promote and strengthen policy framework that are conducive to long-term sustainable
developments in Nigeria and Canada which he has demonstrated on many occasions.
Shola has participated in many international conferences around the world from
Netherland to Germany to Portugal to Australia and many states in the America including
the United Nations in New York while completing his Masters of Public Administration
degree at the University of Manitoba where he graduated with a Distinction. Shola
Agboola has also published a number of academic papers and articles on immigrant
rights, conflict resolution, social justice and political participation and engagements in
many journals including the famous e-cadernos CES academic journal in Portugal.
As the President of the most vibrant and largest youth organization in Canada (NAYA
Canada), Shola has led the organization to undertake over $60 million dollars worth of
social investment in Nigeria in the last 7 years across all geopolitical regions of Nigeria in
many sectors such as Health Care, Education, ICT and Computer Funding and Provision.
Agboola’s organization has donated free medical equipment and supplies to many
hospitals and medical centres in Ogun, Osun, Kebbi, Niger, Delta, Jigawa, Imo, Bayelsa
and Abia, states. His organization has also made free donations of hundreds of laptop
and desktop computer systems, thousands of secondary and post-secondary textbooks
across the country to help in the education sector as well as thousands of free distribution
of clothing in rural communities.
Shola’s passion for community empowerment particularly his desire to see developmental
changes in Nigeria has led him to engage in several high profile meetings with top
Canadian political players including the immediate past Prime Minister of Canada – Rt.
Hon. Stephen Harper and several other federal cabinet ministers of the Canadian
government on how to develop meaningful socio-economic relationship with Nigeria in
ways that would benefit the common people. He has also engaged many prominent
personalities in meaningful collaborative meetings including the former President of
Nigeria, President Olusegun Obasanjo, former governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf
Aregbesola, governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun state as well as successful business
moguls such as Alh. Aliko Dangote, Mr. Femi Otedola among others.

decision makers in the private and governmental sector. Develops strategic business
systems and alliances to ensure national and global sustainability of projects. Travels and

women and youth.
Highlights: Managed to secure partnernership within the first month of
formalizing the organisation, the partnership was to implement projects in
eNqutu KwaZulu Natal in the 17 districts under His Royal Highness Kgosi B
Molefe. In 2019, we successfully trained about 100 Rural women to better
manage their businesses. They graduated in February 2020. 30 of those are
active in their business and they continued into next level of mentorship to
grow further – January to March 2020.
Furthermore, the Arts Crafters continue to supply customers in Johannesburg
with hand made Beads accessories.

development in Africa using Culture as a vehicle. Partnership role – Strategic

Highlights: I managed to establish and officially registered the Aido Network
SA Chapter. Selected the board members. The Chapter was launch in
February 2020. Recently established another division within Aido Network,
called Aido Youth which now has about seventy members these are

-Initiated the Majwaneng Project aimed at getting staff to interact with
CEO on monthly basis in a form of Focus Groups.
