17. Generation Hip Hop Brand Ambassador Guidelines
Generation Hip Hop (GHH) brand ambassadors play an integral role in raising awareness of the
mission and vision of the GHH brand.
Brand ambassadors should always:
1) Represent GHH in a positive light that is in accordance with the guidelines approved by
the GHH executive committee.
2) Seek to initiate strategic partnerships with entities that share a similar mission/vision.
GHH brand ambassadors must be able to clearly articulate the GHH Global mission/vision:
Generation Hip Hop Global Mission:
Generation Hip Hop (GHH) is an organization of Hip Hop artists, educators and youth
development advocates empowering the global community to collectively change the world
through artistic expression, entrepreneurship, and education.
Generation Hip Hop is a global network of hiphoppas and youth development advocates
devoted to creating strategic partnerships with people and organizations who desire to change
our world for the better. Our vehicle is Hip Hop culture. Our fuel is that desire to drive positive
social change. Our power is the people.
Generation Hip Hop Global Expanded Mission/Vision:
Generation Hip Hop (GHH) is a global youth empowerment and development program,
initiated by the Universal Hip Hop Museum and the Africa Rising Foundation. The aim is to
establish satellite organizations/chapters under one Hip Hop brand across the world.
GHH will become an influential movement in the new global village. Youth of today
especially need empowerment through something they can relate to and believe in. GHH
aims to harness the progressive talent of otherwise disenfranchised youth into a collective,
dynamic, and productive international program guided by a central committee.
Initially, the aims of GHH will be to set up infrastructures that address what the world lacks
relative to our youth. Our network will enable us to design community arts workshops, youth
18. empowerment initiatives, cooperative events, programs for conflict resolution, hunger
alleviation, edutainment, and refugee assistance.
GHH is also designed to facilitate sustainable, vital, and transparent CSI initiatives. Blue
chip and corporate entities will have the opportunity to partner globally with GHH in
specifically initiated Cause Related Marketing (CRM) programs. This means that the funds
generated for GHH, through the partner will be acquired through pre-designed CRM
campaigns endorsed by credible and current personalities and organizations. These
campaigns will be influenced by our global reach and will be driven independently in each
country. GHH will perpetuate the Hip Hop mandate of Peace, Unity, and Love through our
initiatives and international network.
Guidelines for GHH brand affiliation:
1) Any brand partnership with another organization or event must be approved by the GHH
executive committee and the GHH Director of Development via expressed written
consent including email consent.
2) Brand ambassadors must submit a written GHH brand partnership/endorsement request
to the GHH Director of Development for review before engaging in any direct or indirect
brand partnership or use of the GHH name or logo.
3) GHH name/logo use on internet or print promotional/marketing materials must be
approved by the GHH executive committee and GHH Director of Development via
expressed written consent including email consent.
4) Internet or print promotional/marketing materials must be sent to the GHH Director of
Development for approval before being released to the public.
I, ___________________________________________ understand the guidelines for
Generation Hip Hop brand affiliation and will adhere to said guidelines.

22ND
APRIL 2019
Dear Hon. Andrew Williams ,
LETTER OF APPOINTMENT
PANAFEST is a landmark biennial festival which is celebrated in the spirit of Pan Africanism and
the African Renaissance. Celebrated since 1992, the festival addresses the most traumatic
interruption that ever occurred in the natural evolution of African s ocieties- the Trans-Atlantic
Slave Trade. The festival consciously held with the most prominent European edifices through
which the slave trade was conducted as a setting, acknowledges the residual effects of the slave
trade on the Continent of Africa and in the countries which perpetuated it. The festival is also
aimed at celebrating the strengths and resilience of African culture and achievements of Africans
in the global context. PANAFEST is founded on the firm conviction that the arts are especially
effective channels for achieving these goals and creating a sustained interaction among peoples of
the global African world with the ultimate objective of consolidating their rights and achieving
their progress.
The 2019 edition of PANAFEST will commemorate the 400th
Anniversary of the landing of the
first enslaved Africans in the English colonies in North America. The theme for this
commemoration is “Beyond 400 Years; Reaching Across Continents Into The Future” to held
between 24th
July to the 3rd
of August 2019.. This edition is very importantly one of the main
highlights of the Year of Return declared by the Government of Ghana to open our country’s doors
to all people of African descent who wish to make a meaningful contact with the African continent
in this auspicious year and beyond.
As part of this year’s program, PANAFEST plans to host an International Hip Hop Pan African
Diaspora Family Reunion Summit in Accra.
20. This letter is to confirm that you have been invited to join the Advisory Board of PANAFEST
Foundation for the International Hip Hop Pan African Diaspora Family Reunion Summit. As a
member of the PANAFEST Foundation IHHPADS’s advisory board, you will have to advise the
PANAFEST leadership team on all issues concerning the organization of the PANAFES-T
Emancipation Day 2019, Year of Return Hip Hop Summit.
All advisory board members are required to be advocates of PANAFEST and Emancipation Day
2019, Year of Return Hip Hop Summit on social media, while seeking new opportunities to help

aboard, excellence, economic independence, love and respect for each other and global peace. We
expect all board members to uphold these cultural standards in both their public and private life.
Any disrespect for these principles can result in the termination of appointment.

28. 2013-2020 Kwanzaa Accord via Congress of African People (CAP)
Congress of African People (CAP), Los Angeles, welcomes the opportunity to engage with The AJ
Action Team (AJAX), in the promotion and implementation of these Kwanzaa Accords as they are
outlined in the document commemorating the 150th Anniversary, of the Emancipation Proclamation
extending the rights of liberty to African descendants impacted by the Holocaust of Enslavement.
Be it resolved, that we will work in concert with our Bermuda and Global Family to ensure the the
rights which were extended 150 years ago, are now, starting in 2003, given the opportunity of being
exercised and implementing in a more meaningful and substantive way. As African people, we affirm
our right of Self-Determination to shape a vision for our people to become free, proud and
productive.
Be it resolved, that the value basis for our unification are embodied in the Seven Principles (Nguzo
Saba) of Kwanzaa, Unity (Umoja), Self Determination (Kujichagulia), Collective Work and
Responsibility (Ujima), Cooperative Economics (Ujamaa), Nia (Purpose), Kuumba (Creativity), and Faith
(Imani). These principles have sacred significance to our people and struggle, in that they were
designed by our African Ancestors and passed down through the generations to guide our work and
contribution to human progress.
Be it resolved, that CAP applauds the efforts of AJAX for embarking on a path of Sustainable
Economic Development, Industry Building and Financial Independence which will serve as a model for
Economic Growth and Prosperity of our respective communities, the African continent and its
diaspora.
Be it further resolved, that CAP will work to assist in producing and promoting a program of Cultural
Restoration and Renaissance in the key areas of Fashion, Art, Music and Entertainment (F.A.M.E.),
based in the Los Angeles Leimert Park, (Pan African Village) Community and to coordinate our
activities and progress with our Bermuda, Diasporan and African Continental family.
And lastly, it is the hope and intent of all of these efforts, to create a New African Man and Woman,
conscious of their historical role, and who are prepared to step back on the "Stage of Human
History, as free, proud and productive people".

order to move forward.
Similarly, the Washington, D.C. National Museum of African American
History and Culture celebrates Sankofa as a spiritual companion

The Sankofa Passage in Leimert Park links all Diasporans to African
traditions that reconnect the family, transcending language and location,
to commemorate the trials and survival of our Maafa (holocaust) through
the Middle Passage from the Cradle of Humankind in Africa.
Kwanzaa was developed 1966 – 1967 to “give Blacks an opportunity to
celebrate themselves and their history, rather than simply imitate the
practice of the dominant society. The first Africans brought to America
came from the area of the Kwanzaa River in Angola and the name derives
from the Swahili phrase matunda ya kwanza, meaning "first fruits of the
harvest.
The Kwanzaa Accord elevates the survival culture of the plantations to a
transformational experience that celebrates our solidarity, creativity and
happiness to be together
The Kwanzaa Accord 2013-2020,is the inaugural 7 year campaign of
the a new social contract on the frontline of the global pursuit of
happiness. envisioning worldwide celebration of the Kwanzaa Principals 7
days a week, Sunday through Saturday, aligning with the African
Union’s Agenda 2063 among all peoples of African Descent, regardless
of citizenship, language or race.
"AJ Ambassadors" represent "Unity in the Community World Vibe,
Fighting With Peace and Not For It" based on the Bermuda Gombey
cultural mosaic of European, Indigenous Tribes and Africa, tracing its
heritage back to Ghana Africa and invite all the world to recognize and
celebrate our "one ness".
The Black Caucus of California Community Colleges which is open to
membership from students at all students and alumni from institutions
throughout the state (including Charles Drew Medical University, the only
