5. What are 21st century
skills?
• Learning and innovation skills which include
creativity, critical thinking, communication, and
collaboration;
• Information, media and technology skills which
involve using, managing, and evaluating information
from digital technology and communication tools;
• Life and career skills which include flexibility
and adaptability, self-direction, teamwork,
appreciation of diversity, accountability and
leadership.
6. What are webquests?
• A WebQuest is "an
inquiry-oriented activity
in which some or all of
the information that
learners interact with
comes from resources
on the Internet."

7. What is
telecollaboration?
• Telecollaboration = online learning using
web-based collaboration tools such as
email, listservs,message boards, real-time
chat, and Web-based conferencing connect
learners to other learners, teachers,
educators, scholars and researchers or to
any individual with access to the Internet
who can enrich the learning process.
8. Storypaths
The Storypath strategy uses the components of
story--scene, character and plot--to organize
curriculum into meaning and memorable learning
experiences.
It is more than reading a story, it is living the
story guided by the teacher through an inquiry
approach as learners create the scene, become
the characters and solve the problems presented
