Worry about the wellbeing of whatever made it. Like I said before, the episode was average, maybe even a little above average, the new voice actor

What I found most interesting was the topics of menarche and menstruation were framed in the video. There is a great deal of positivity about
menstruation that I am unaccustomed to seeing here in the United States. In western culture, menarche is not treated as a time of celebration;
instead, it is treated as a source of shame and embarrassment (Lorber, 2002). The video does the exact opposite. When the girl first gets her period,
she refers to it as "the red badge of courage". She views menarche as a time of celebration, seeing it as a marker of maturity as reflected by her

Evidences collected since that time entail limited educational or cognitive benefits of commercial TV animated series for young children, especially

Children television programs have been around for decades, designed to entertain and educate the targeted audience. These programs are extremely
popular among children, typically last twenty to thirty minutes, are scheduled between the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 10: 00 p.m., and are aired daily on a
weekly basis. The commercials that air in–between the breaks of each program are also marketed towards and specifically made for children. Even

Gender stereotypes create a widely accepted judgment or bias about certain characteristics or traits that apply to each gender. According to Al–Shehab
(2008) "There is a danger that children may develop behavioral stereotype subconsciously in spite of the fact that what they view may be biased,
distorted, or misleading" (p.50). After analyzing a few of the children's television programs, I found examples of gender stereotype in the shows
Cat in The Hat and Arthur. When it comes to the gender stereotype in Cat in the Hat, it portrays the idea that girls should be feminine and that boys
should be masculine (a sense of gender role). This was evident in some of the episodes I watched when the two siblings (brother and sister)
constantly had disagreements on ideas and other things. For example, in one episode, the brother and sister had a disagreement on worms and
dirt. The sister considered it "yucky" and "gross" while the boy considered it "cool" and "fun". The girl adored wearing dresses and playing with
her dolls while her brother didn't mind getting dirty and playing with his action figures. I also noticed that their mother was always home watching
over and taking care of them judging from the episodes that I watched. In the children's program Arthur, there was a variety of gender stereotypes.
For instance, every adult male in the show Arthur was either tall and/or bulky and muscular while all the women were shorter than the male they
were with. I also noticed that all the men were either wearing slacks or jeans and a long or short sleeve shirt while the majority of women wore
dresses. After watching a few episodes I also realized that Arthur's father was the head of the household and was always leaving the house to go to

Each and every child grows up viewing Disney movies, wearing princess gowns, and buzz lightyear suits. The parents of these children are the
individuals purchasing these Disney costumes, toys, candy, and other related items for their children. Our society today accepts Disney and their
culture of entertainment as a part of a child's childhood experience without second thought. Elements of the fairytale of Cinderella has adapted over
time to please the culture in which it is told; yet in today's culture, adaptation to these elements is taken to where it has never been. In "The Princess
Paradox," James Poniewozik says, "You can have the girly dream of glass slippers and true love, these films say, as well as the womanly ideal of
self–determination and independence and any contradictions between them are no match for the movies' magic" (Poniewozik 324). Peggy Orenstein
compliments Poniewozik's article because she states, "The first Princess items, released with no marketing plan, no focus groups, no advertising, sold
as if blessed by a fairy godmother" (Orenstein 327). Poniewozik is trying to argue that films have altered the story of Cinderella in the 21st century
cinema realm due to the addition of the concept of feminism, women 's separation from men, and the traditional magic implemented within them.
Orenstein marries these articles together indirectly by pointing out that Disney legitimately had no marketing plan, yet they continue to rake in money.

Project 3: Television for Children (Chapter 3–Personal, Social, & Moral Development) Since I was little up to now, television has changed from what
I grew up with. For this project I watched three television shows, one in the morning, one late afternoon, and one evening show before eight pm.
In the morning I watched Dora and Friends: Into the City. At first I was surprised that Dora grew up and different from what I used to watch Dora.
Similar to the Dora the Explorer, Dora and Friends: Into the City is a show about Dora and her friends Anna and Pablo. This show demonstrated
more prosocial acts than violets acts. Dora and Friends: Into the City showed prosocial acts such as making a story for a group of little kids, and
helping Kate find her book. The only violet acts was stealing and yelling. In the afternoon I watched iCarly, one my old favorite TV shows. This
show is about three teenagers, Carly, Sam, and Freddy, whom make a live internet show, similar to modern day YouTube. Interesting, I found that late
afternoon shows appear to show more violent acts than prosocial acts. Sam would push people down, kick, and beat them up. Even though Sam is a
character that demonstrates silly behavior, this could send a message to kids to beat up others when one is irritated, or upset. The only prosocial acts I
saw was hugging and cheering others up. To compare the morning show to the afternoon show, I think the morning shows show more prosocial acts
than violent acts to remind
