You can multiply two matrices A and B if the number of columns in A
is equal to the number of rows in B. Otherwise, the product is not defined.

Tell whether the product AB is defined. If so, give the dimensions of AB.
A: 3 x 2 B: 2 x 1 A: 2 x 3 B: 2 x 2

To find the product of two matrices, multiply the elements of each row
of the first matrix by the elements of each column of the second matrix,
and then add the products.
Example
[ ][ ] [
2 3 1 4 = 2(1) + 3(1)
5 0 1 3 5(1) + 0(1) ] [
2(4) + 3(3) 1 17
