This document reports on new media trends in Indonesia. It shows that as of June 2003, Indonesia had around 3 million regular internet users, which accounted for only 1% of the adult population. While 3% of adults had occasional access, the vast majority (96%) did not directly use the internet. The number of internet users in Indonesia was growing by 12% annually. Inflation rates from the Statistical Center Bureau are also presented.
