2. Student Analysis
• I will be teaching to a sixth grade
class. There are 25 students, 11
boys and 14 girls. 50% of the
students are white, 25% are
African America, 15% are Asian
and 10% are Hispanic.
3. Objective
• My 6th grade students will demonstrate an
understanding of the elements of a healthy
lifestyle after examining characteristics,
creating a workout, completing webquests,
listening to podcasts, viewing videos and
using social media by the end of the week
with 80% accuracy.
4. Day by Day
• Monday- discuss the importance of sleep
• Tuesday- elements of food pyramid/ my plate
• Wednesday- importance of not smoking
• Thursday- Importance of sleep
• Friday- review of all the elements

• Review power point presentations
• Watch YouTube videos
• Listen to podcasts
• Complete webquests
• Use QR codes
• Analyze social media
• View voki’s
• Follow a blog
