2. Audience Shots
We will shoot different
angles of the audience to
get a more realistic view
that it is a TV show
audience. The different
angles will include close
ups and panning to show
emotions and reactions.
3. Chat Show Studio
Keeping to the 180 degree
rule, we will use close ups,
wide shot, over-the-shoulder
shots etc. This will enable us
to capture the whole
conversation between the
two characters. Using more
than 1 camera would mean
the filming will take us less
time.
4. Officer Rogers’ Lounge
An over-the-shoulder shot will
give the audience the idea of
seeing the TV programme from
the detective’s point of view. The
TV programme will be filmed
separately though and will need to
be superimposed so it’s important
that nothing gets in the way of the
blank TV. Close ups of Officer
Rogers’ face will also be used to
show the audience his reactions of
the phone call and when he sees
the shooting on TV.
5. Rogers’ Hallway
The hallway will be used
to introduce one of the
main characters (Officer
Rogers), as well as watch
him in action. Match on
action will be used to
show Rogers walking
from one room to
another.
6. Outside Rogers’ House
We will use an
establishing shot to
show the characters’
location and to show
his reaction to the
phone call as he
rushes to the crime
scene.
