Applications must only be submitted by foreign students not residing in Italy.

Applicants for Master’s should not be over 28 years old.

Language skills and proficiency
Applicants must provide a certificate of their proficiency in Italian language.
Proof of proficiency in Italian is not required for courses entirely taught in English.

10. SAID FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS
the Foundation offers up to twenty postgraduate scholarships annually
to outstanding individuals who demonstrate the potential to become
leaders and innovators of change. Applications are restricted to
candidates who are Syrian, Lebanese, Jordanian or Palestinian.
One year Master courses
For special cases, two years and PhD in Oxford & Cambridge.
Applications for next year will open in August 2018.
Only candidates with the equivalent of a UK 2.1 degree or higher will be
eligible for consideration.

TRUST SCHOLARSHIP
Durham Palestine Educational Trust will offer two or three scholarships for a one-year
taught Master's Degree at Durham University, UK.
ELIGIBILITY:
have completed, before July of the pervious year , a degree at a university in the West Bank or
Gaza
have achieved a cumulative average grading (GPA) of at least 80% (or 3.0 or B) in your first
degree
possess a certificate of English Language proficiency acceptable to the course you wish to study
at Durham University.
have been active in student or community life
live in the West Bank or Gaza and belong to a family that is normally resident in the West Bank
or Gaza
are unable to study abroad through the finances of your immediate family
are able to live in the UK for 12 months as a single person.

14. DURHAM PALESTINE EDUCATIONAL
TRUST SCHOLARSHIP
VALUE:
Durham University will award you a tuition fee scholarship.
This Trust (which is a charity, independent of the University) will provide a
maintenance scholarship for your accommodation, living expenses, travel
to the UK and other necessary expenses, such as a UK visa.

15. THE RHODES SCHOLARSHIPS AT THE
UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD
The Rhodes Scholarships at the University of Oxford
Age: The age limit is 19-27 by 1st October 2019.
A GPA over 3.75 over 4.0 or over 95% is expected.
English Requirements: test scores of over 7.5 (IELTS) or 110 (TOEFL iBT).
Opening date: 1 June 2018
Closing date: Applications for Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine must be
received by midnight, Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), 31 August 2018

16. HIGHER EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP
PALESTINE (HESPAL)
The scheme will upgrade academic staff in Palestinian universities through a Masters or PhD
Scholarship programme.
Currently 24 Masters and 14 PhD scholarships are awarded to candidates in Palestinian universities in
the West Bank and Gaza.
Deadline 23 January 2018.
The scholarship covers the following:
tuition fees
arrival allowances
thesis allowances
monthly allowance to cover living expenses
The scholarship does not cover the costs for accompanying family, visa fees, IELTS cost, and Airfare ticket
to from the UK.

PALESTINE (HESPAL)
Conditions:
Applicant must be a resident citizen of Occupied Palestinian Territories
Applicant must be currently employed by the Palestinian University which nominates
her/him, which must be one of the participating Palestinian universities listed below
Applicant with BA or Masters degree from a Palestinian University should have a minimum
grade of very good (3.0) in UK (equivalent to 80% in local universities)
No age limits for applicants
Applicant must sign a written contract with their university declaring that they will return
to Palestine and work in their university on completion of their degree
Applicant must have IELTS certification appropriate for course and university (normally at
least 6.5, sometimes higher).To apply for the scheme each applicant should contact the
University Coordinator in the list below.
