2. Four Panel Digipak
While studying about digipaks, I found out that most popular artists uses a
four panel digipak which inspired me to create a four panel digipak. I
mostly gained Inspiration from artists such as Olly Murs ,One Direction
and Justin Beiber as they follow the same target audience's as our music
video. I visualised my digipak before I actually created it and thought that I
should have mid- shots as the artists that I was looking at took mid-shots.
The colour that I have used was mainly inspired by Justin Beibers of using
dark colours as it we have a male artist so it would not look as feminine. I
also used the crosses to act as a synergy as our artist name is called “Leon
Cross”.
3. Advertisements
I looked at other professional work by well known artists and wanted to follow
their conventions. I noticed that most of them use their own album to put onto
their advert to promote their Album. They also always mention when the album
is released so they could have as much information on the adverts as possible.
Also they also mention where the product will be available to download and
purchase which I selected the most popular places such as iTunes and Amazon. I
looked at a previous student work which inspired me on my advert which they
have done concerts. I started looking at different concert adverts such as Ellie
Goulding and noticed that they always put all their concerts on the advert and
where they could purchase tickets. So as a result I decided to follow a template of
a concert advert.
