GADVASU Recruitment 2013 – Teaching & Non Teaching Posts: Guru Angad Dev
Veterinary & Animal Sciences University(GADVASU) has issued notification for recruitment of
17 Teaching & Non Teaching posts on contract basis. Eligible candidates may apply through
prescribed application format on or before 14-06-2013. Other details like age limit, educational

1. Professor of Animal Breeding: 01 Post
2. Assistant Scientist (Animal Genetics and Breeding): 01 Post
3. Assistant Professor Livestock Products Technology: 01 Post
4. Assistant Toxicologist: 01 Post
5. Research Associates: 02 Posts
6. Senior Research Fellow: 02 Posts
7. Field Assistant: 01 Post
8. Stock Assistant: 03 Posts
9. Senior Assistant: 02 Posts
10. Drivers: 03 Posts
Age Limit: For post at Sr. No.1 and 9 the age should be below 64 years. For post at Sr. No.2 to 4
the minimum age of entry is 18 years as on last date of receipt of applications. For posts at Sr.
Nos. 5 to 8 & 10 the minimum age of entry is 18 years and not more than 37 years as on last date
of receipt of applications.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.V.Sc/
M.V.Sc./B.Sc.(Agri.)/B.A/ M.Sc./M.V.Sc/ B.Tech/M.Sc./M.Tech./Ph.D in relevant field with
desired experience as per the post. For post wise details refer to the notification.
Application Fee Details: Applicants need to pay Rs.300/- (for posts 1 to 4), RS .200/- (for post
5 to 7 & 9), Rs.100/- (for posts 8 & 10) in the form of Bank Draft in favor of Comptroller,
GADAVASU payable at Luthiana.
Selection Process: Selection will be done on the basis of performance in interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application on plain paper along with Bank
Draft, attested copies of certificates should be reach in the office of Head of the relevant
department, GADAVASU, Luthiana by 14-06-2013.
Last date for Receipt of Application: 14-06-2013.
