1. This is a list of the main props that will
be used or seen in my opening
sequence
2. Because my opening is based around a female detective named
Rosa she likes to be neat and a little old fashioned. That's why
my character likes her fine china. The prop I will have is a china
tea set. This will be used when my detective Rosa will be
drinking tea from a mug. A close-up shot (not including her eyes)
will be used at this point. This will be to show how delicate she
is with her life and her work.
3. As a detective Rosa is very in love with
her notepad which is also her best friend
in her line of work. She never leaves
without it and uses and never lets
anyone but herself use it. It is a average
notepad with the metal binder and its
lined.
4. I will also need a fountain pen. This will be used to
show how old fashioned Rosa will be and how she
leads her life. The pen will be constantly in Rosa’s
hand when she is writing down her notes.
5. This will be used to signal the arrival of
the victim of the crime and will also be
seen in a close-up shot with the victims
hand pressing it. I will most likely use a
sound effect to heighten the noise.
6. The violin will be seen when Rosa is playing it and
then is interrupted by the sound of the doorbell
going off. This is significant as it shows that she is a
person who likes class and it also illustrates what
sort of music she likes which is classical.
7. The books a merely scene in an establishing
shot of the interview. However, they are
significant as they are used to show that Rosa
likes to read and she gets inspiration from
these books which will be detective novels.
8. These will just be scene however they
also show that Rosa is constantly
keeping care of her life and will not
allow anything that is not perfect into
her life.
