Expected Indian crude oil consumption – 368 MMT / year by 2025.

400 million Indians still don’t have access to electricity due to inadequate energy
supply.
Indian govt. trying to meet increasing energy demand – plan to auction a record
56 exploration blocks in 2014 & seeking investment of USD 250 billion in oil and
gas in next 10 years.
Bottom line: Projected increase in exploration activity – extremely positive outlook
for oil & gas services in India for the next 15 years & beyond.
