Activity no 1:
Tell and write the time shown on each clock. Write in “regular way” and “smart
way”.

2. Activity no 2:
Identify what is happening in the picture and ask a question about it. Answer the
question in smart way of telling time.
(Example: what time do you get up?/ When do you get up?)
Activity no 3: (Role Play)
Draw clocks and show the times given in bold.
A: Why are you standing out of the class?
B: Today I have come school late so teacher punished me.
A: Oh! Why did you come late?
B: I couldn’t wake up on time.
A: What time do you get up daily?
B: I get up at sharp 6 in the morning. But today I got up at 7.00
A: When does your mother wake up?
B: She wakes up at half past five daily. Offers Namaz then makes breakfast for me.
But today she was late too.
A: when do you leave for school daily?
B: Daily I leave for school at quarter to eight, but today I left at five to eight.
A: Next time, be careful and set alarm daily.
B: Insha Allah ta’ala I will

4. What time do you play?
