2. Weapons

A pistol will be used by the hitman this shows the
violence of the film and the character. The pistol will
have to be a BB gun due to laws and safety. If the BB
gun is not of the desired colour it will be spray
painted black and silver so that it looks more
realistic.
A large kitchen knife will be used by one or more of
the gangsters, and will be used to cut open one of
the bags of coke and will be used to cut it up. The
knife will also used as a weapon by the hitman to kill
one of the gangsters; this is stereotypical for
someone in this profession because it gives the
hitman a sinister and professional feeling by showing
he is ruthless enough to get close enough to be able
to stab someone. The problem with using a knife this
large would be that taking the props to the filming
location bring up risks and when filming health and
safety will have to be taken into account.
3. Drugs

Oregano will be used to represent
cannabis, due to the appearance of
oregano with it being dried and a dark
shade of green it will give a more realistic
and desired effect. The problem with
using oregano is they aren’t available in
large quantities. The use of drugs
connotes that the gangsters have a life of
crime.
To represent cocaine ground up
paracetamol will be used, the same
problem that came up with the oregano
with the amount needed to make it
believable. Health issues could come up if

One of the characters will be
smoking this could show that he is
stressed so he requires something to
calm himself. The problem with using
the cigarettes is we can’t have them
light without the risk of setting off a
fire alarm.
Alcohol will be used by the gangsters
during the gambling scene, the
problem with using this prop is we
won’t be able to use actual alcohol.
To get around this we will get hold of
a bottle of vodka and empty it out
and replace the contents with water
so it gives a similar effect.
5. Other props

A dart and dartboard will be used by
the hitman to decide which one of the
gangsters will be spared to do this a
picture of one of the actors will be
pinned to the dart board.
Mobile phones will be used by the
characters, these mobile phones will be
cheap pay-as-you-go phones which
means that the gangsters will be able
to buy multiple phones or be able to
quickly replace them without any
connections between them and the
phone. This gives the characters a
sense of professionalism about them
and would show that they have been in
the business for a long time
A deck of cards will be used by the
gangsters to play a game of poker.
