Countries need to implement fiscal
policies to loosen liquidity, lower
interest rates and enhance accessibility

more transparent Public Private
Partnership (PPPs) models that reduce
risks to both the private investor and
the public.

climate change adapta/on (inclusion in
climate change policy and ini/a/ves on

• Preserving land as wetlands, forests - Reduc3on of
the conversion of agricultural land for other uses to
preserve demand through deliberate plans and
policies and promo3ng land-use policies and tenure
systems that encourage investment by
smallholders.
• BuDress EBA by introducing innova3ve social
safeguards against climate risks e.g. climate
insurance among others.
• Encourage consump3on of locally produced crops
to enhance market sustainability
