REFLECTION ON PROGRESS
A PRESENTATION BY REX AFRED
 How well do you feel you are progressing through with your blogging
compared to last year?
Compared to last year, I have started off my work quite well, unfortunately I never managed
to complete post 11 beforehand which I’m sure is one of the reasons why my grade resulted
in a B, rather than an A. My work this year has improved considerably though, I have
incorporated a larger use of alternative ICT rather than the simplicity of work thrown across
the blog and I have made sure my work is more visual and not just sequins of writing which
can create a monotonous amount of work to mark. I’d like to think that my work has become
more productive and shows what I’m trying to convey better. However, I still have a
tendency to miss certain posts so I should be able to work on that to improve.
 What mark would I give myself for my use of ICT and level of detail in
blogging?
I would give myself around about the mark of 16/17 for my use of ICT and detail because
I have shown some detail but not at a level that can get me the highest mark, that is
something that I can focus on as I begin to plan for the more in depth work and pitch.
Though I was given 15 for my work that isn’t completely unfair considering I had some
work that was missing.
 3 Things to improve upon:
1. The first thing I need to improve upon in my work is adding the amount I think is
enough. Adding a lower amount of work in my blogs could be the difference as
opposed to if I was to include more to show my understanding better, I feel I
should push myself a little more for a better mark.
2. The second thing that I need to improve is timing. I missed a deadline for one of
the pieces of work but had I asked it might have the difference, both in my final
mark and also the quality of my work across the board, therefore I need to make
sure I ask about what work needs to be done and when.
3. Lastly, I would like to improve on the span of ICT that I use. I have used the
regular forms of ICT such as; PowToon, Emaze, Slideshare and Prezi but I will try
to explore an even wider range of ICT so I can capitalize upon the knowledge I
already have on using different forms of ICT.

I missed a deadline for one of the pieces of work but had I asked it might have the difference, both in my final mark and also the quality of my work across the board, therefore I need to make sure I ask about what work needs to be done and when. 3. Lastly, I would like to improve on the span of ICT that I use. I have used the regular forms of ICT such as; PowToon, Emaze, Slideshare and Prezi but I will try to explore an even wider range of ICT so I can capitalize upon the knowledge I already have on using different forms of ICT.
