Doodle is scribbling away absent-mindedly, and often these doodles can carry a great deal of meaning,
and for the artist, can sometimes be the source of inspiration for serious artworks. Creating something
meaningful outof givenunplanned vaguelines,itmaybe solved fromany direction.
Give an appropriate title to it.
B] 3D MODEL MAKING:
It involves making of 3-D models using the given materials such as clay, wire, string, different kinds of
paper, thermacol, cloth etc. The time limit may vary from 30 minutes to 45 minutes.

5. E] THEMATIC/ PSYCHOMETRIC TEST: This test is based on your observation and presence of mind. The
time limit may be 1 minute to 10 minutes.For example-Identify the ingredient of the given pudding by
smelling itor guesstheheightof room youare sittingin.
F] AUDIO/ VISUAL TEST: A candidate has to listen to an audio or may be shown a video clipping for a

It plays a very important role in the final
selection. A candidate must carry a collection of
his/ her original work which may include manual
drawing and sketching, photographs, computer
layouts etc. A candidate must have complete
knowledge about his/ her work and all the work

2. 3D Model Making--1hr
Straw 10-20, 200 ml bottle-1, Thread (Green, Brown 1 m each) ,
Use the given material to construct a structure in such a way that the given bottle should balance
horizontally/vertically 4” above the table. . You may use cutter/scissors but do not use adhesive of
any kind.-
3.Clay modelling-45 minutes
Design a half squeezed toothpaste tube with the given clay mould.
4. Design a 3D worn out cap with the given clay mould.

NID Studio Test includes number of task depending on the material usage, 3D modelling,
aesthetic sense and development of innovative themes. I was given proper guidance on
such similar task by AFA.They dig the best in me and found where I lack so to bring it on
in a unique way. AFA’s regular assistance to the students put the benchmark to take up
the challenge and beat it.I am very much satisfied with what I got to learn at AFA and its
a blessing for me in disguise NIVIDA MALHOTRA [NID]
AFA conducted portfolio preparation classes which had an exciting and
thoughtful process . I attended these sessions and did some fabulous work
