➢ After the eighth grade, meritorious students with economic disadvantages can benefit
from this scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to one lakh students across the
country each year.
❖ A student can earn up to twelve thousand rupees per year. Every year, applications
are accepted between August and October.
❖ A student must submit an online application through the National Scholarship Portal.
➢ Who will benefit (eligibility)– At least 55% in the 8th grade is required. It is also
necessary to take the selection test for this. A minimum of 55% in 7th grade is obligatory
to take the selection test. Annual family income should not exceed Rs 3,50,000 per year.

➢ Who will benefit (eligibility)– Students in their first or second year of a technical degree
or diploma program. Those admitted to that course via lateral entry based on 12th grade
will benefit from this. A family’s annual income should be less than or equal to Rs 8

❖ This benefit is available to highly qualified students pursuing a technical degree or

under this program.

submitted via the National Scholarship Portal.
➢ Who will benefit (eligibility)– Students who are at least 40% disabled are admitted in the
first year of a degree or diploma course at an AICTE-affiliated institute through lateral
entry. The student’s family income must be less than Rs 8 lakh annually.

trend. This means that the PMRF program is for PhD-level research in the fields of
Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, and Medicine.
❖ It is a collaborative effort between the Science and Engineering Research Board
(SERB) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
❖ The PMRF scheme offers Ph.D. students scholarships of up to INR 10.92 lakhs per
year, with the government providing 50% and a sponsoring industry providing the
remaining 50% for four years.

Fellowship and Scholarship for ST Students Higher Education.’
