7 Project Meeting- Samsun, TURKIYE 04-07 July 2011
The seventh mobility visit in Samsun was
organized by Atakum Public Education Center
(Atakum HEM) and attended by 13 participants
coming from Lithuania, Slovenia and Romania.
The participants were welcomed by the
representatives of Atakum HEM, the Turkish
partner and coordinator of this Learning
partnership project funded by the Grundtvig
Programme.
The first day started with coordinator’s
meeting about Final report writing at Tepe Hotel
conference room. Duties were shared by
participants. The opinion was that the main aims
were achieved as general. Also possibility to work
on further on the subject of ADHER and develop
its ideas in other projects idea was discussed and
Meeting at Tepe Hotel Conference Hall every coordinator was agreed and volunteer to
work together in the future
After coffee break all participants attended meeting.V.Bahar ZENGIN presented Turkey and some historical places,
Samsun, Atakum Public Education Center and own cultural heritages. Also Nerute Kligine was remembered with a
short video.
After meeting they had a chance to see and try
the art of Ebru.
After lunch city tour began with tour guide.
The participants visited historical places and
museums of Samsun Bandirma Boat Museum
Gazi Museum and Archaeology and Ethnography
Museum. Also Amazon Island and Amisos Hill
were toured. Ataturk monument, Great Mosque
and International Bazaar were in the city tour
Then participants went to a historical place for
dinner Acem Tekkesi.After traditional meal and
folk dances, traditional songs.Guests attended to
traditional henna night in the same place.

2. The second day’s trip was to Sinop.The trip was started with Sinop’s historical prison then continued with Sinop
Castle(walls) and beautiful scenery. After lunch, Akliman was visited and visitors swam at Akliman coast in the
black sea.
The trip ended with dinner at the Amisos Hill Restaurant and every partner was pleased with project and working
together. In the future coordinators agreed to work together again.
